Our Vision & Purpose

VISION / PURPOSE ELEMENTS:

CONNECT

We believe it is important to connect as a community of believers. Using the early church as an example, we can see throughout the book of Acts the high priority placed on consistently connecting with other Christians. Christian connection provides an opportunity for the individual believer to connect with other believers to develop a bond of unity. To facilitate connection, we provide opportunities to gather through our various ministries, which include our Sunday and Wednesday gatherings, Saturday prayer, and more!

EMPOWER

We believe Biblical instruction Empowers the believer. As we gather together, we believe it is imperative to provide to the church the Spirit-anointed Biblical instruction that is intended to empower each member of the church. As the Word of God is taught, the church will be equipped and empowered to live life in a way that is pleasing to God. We also see that our connection with each other produces a unity which leads to the empowering of the church against the attack of the devil.

SEND

It is our firm belief that each believer has been saved on purpose for a purpose! We believe the outcome of Spirit-anointed Christian Connection and the Empowering of the church through the teaching of the Word of God, is a prepared people that can impact the community and beyond with the love of Jesus. Therefore, we desire to raise up a people who love Jesus and see their daily lives as a mission field. We, as the church are all on a mission for God. Whether you are working a job, tending to a family, enjoying retirement, or going to the Philippines we are all called and sent into our personal mission field to accomplish the work God has prepared for us to accomplish.

It is imperative to understand that our vision/purpose statement embraces the full and complete dependence upon the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit.

  • We can only connect with one another through the power of the Holy Spirit at work in our gatherings.

  • We can only be empowered by the teaching of the Word of God as we depend upon the Holy Spirit and submit to His authority in our lives personally and collectively.

  • And we can only accomplish the work the Lord has designed for us to accomplish individually and as a connected people if we are empowered and guided by the Holy Spirit.

We fully embrace the message given to Zerubbabel in Zechariah 4:6:  'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord.
